Jackass: Best and Last features a multitude of new stunts in addition to the greatest hits from the previous movies.
The new film also includes previously unseen footage of stunts that didn't make it into other Jackass films.
Jackass: Best and Last is now playing in theaters.
The Jackass crew is back on the big screen, and they've cooked up some gnarly new gags for their fifth and final film.
Although Jackass: Best and Last is largely a greatest hits compilation of stunts from the previous four Jackass movies and the MTV show of the same name, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and the rest of the gang still filmed a multitude of new segments that strike that distinct Jackass balance of creativity and unrelenting nastiness.
Here are some of the highlights from the new and previously unseen material from Jackass: Best and Last.

Hot potato with Zach's butt

One of Best and Last's more involved new segments sees various members of the crew take turns answering trivia questions while lying faceup on a bench…and if they get a question wrong, the bare butt of their compatriot Zach Holmes gets closer and closer to their faces. (Holmes, who was introduced in 2022's Jackass Forever, is suspended on wires above the bench and gradually lowered closer to the ground.) I, Tonya star Paul Walter Hauser is also an active participant in this segment for some reason. Always good to see you, Paul.

The electric balance beam

In a scene that has been heavily featured in the film's marketing, Sean "Poopies" McInerney puts an electric shock device on his penis and attempts to run across a balance beam. The shocker, of course, is activated via remote control, held by a cackling Knoxville. It goes without saying that Poopies struggles to reach the other end of the beam.

The escape room

One of the longest new segments in Best to Last, the escape room is the closest that Jackass ever comes to a full-blown Saw sequence. The segment has multiple challenges, which include grabbing a coin out of a gloryhole-esque crevice (we won't spoil what's on the other side), as well as a spinning wheel featuring a bunch of boots that threaten to kick Dave England in the crotch, and an electric chair that…honestly just seems like a standard electric chair used to execute people. Everyone makes it out alive, miraculously.

Extreme Makeover: Poopies Edition

Sometimes the simplest stunts are the strongest. Near the beginning of the movie, Poopies receives injections of lip filler that make his mouth swell like he's having an allergic reaction. That's it. It's funny! And he got more injections as a gag for the movie's premiere on Wednesday as an added bonus.

Knoxville obtains a machine that connects his muscles to his castmates via wires that deliver electric shocks, so whenever he flexes a muscle in his arms, it sends a shock to his buddy on the receiving end. Poopies tries to shave his face as Knoxville zaps him, and later, Steve-O struggles to tattoo a smiley face onto Holmes' nipple as he gets repeatedly buzzed. It does not turn out great.

The ping pong ball launch

In another simple but tremendously effective bit, Steve-O pretends to swallow a table tennis ball, then drops his drawers and attempts to launch a different ball out of his butthole (all while trying to maintain the illusion that he passed a ball through his entire digestive tract in mere seconds). He's a genius.

The robot prostate exam

Perhaps the single greatest new element in Best and Last is Larry, a humanoid robot voiced by comedian Adam Ray. During his first scene, Larry uses his "finger" to give Steve-O a prostate exam using chunky peanut butter as lubricant.

Poo Twister

The grossest new segment in Best and Last comes near the end of the film when Steve-O and a few other members of the crew drink extreme-strength laxatives and play a game of "Human Pretzel" (I guess name-brand Twister didn't want to be associated with massive streams of diarrhea, for whatever reason) as they inadvertently empty their bowels. The sight and smell of the game-night mess understandably inspires widespread vomiting, too.

The moving-room intro

In classic Jackass movie tradition, Best and Last opens with an elaborate, glossy introduction that coincides with the opening credits. In this case, the gang stands and sits still in a variety of poses as a massive room moves around them — the effect is nearly identical to the one utilized in Jonathan Glazer's iconic music video for Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity," but with cacti and boxing gloves added to maximize the pain factor.

The shooting that started it all

This is the only entry on the list that wasn't produced specifically for Best and Last — instead, it's the clip that inspired the very notion of Jackass in the first place. Knoxville, who was writing an article that led him to test self-defense equipment by using various weapons on himself, fires a revolver at his own chest from point-blank range while wearing a bulletproof vest. It's a perfect distillation of what makes Jackass great: the terrifying threat of genuine bodily harm that literally takes your breath away, executed for the sake of gonzo entertainment value and absurd commitment to the bit.
