The latest season of Alan Ritchson-starrer Reacher has arrived, delivering strong action but a weaker critical reception. So far, Reacher Season 4 holds the showās lowest Rotten Tomatoes rating.
At the time of publication, Reacher Season 4 has an 87 percent score on Rotten Tomatoesā Tomatometer, based on 15 reviews.

The season adapts Lee Childās 13th Jack Reacher novel, Gone Tomorrow. The story begins when Reacher comes across a troubled woman on a New York subway. Her death pulls him into a dangerous conspiracy involving powerful enemies.

What are critics saying about Reacher Season 4?
Critics praise Alan Ritchsonās performance, brutal action, and the seasonās darker approach. However, some believe the new episodes lack the fun of previous ones. M.N. Miller from FandomWire wrote, āReacherās fourth season is less bold, less brash, and less fun, but still as brutal as ever.ā
David Caballero from Collider felt the season had a major tonal shift. He wrote, āWith its fourth chapter, Reacher goes full neo-noir, embracing the genreās fatalistic, gloomy approach while staying true to its action roots.ā
The Playlistās Warren Cantrell said, āAll the basic components for success are here in Season 4⦠Itās just not much fun, and the writing and acting are occasionally so bad that it can make a person almost embarrassed to watch.ā
ScreenRantās Craig Elvy praised the seasonās carefully designed action scenes. He shared, āIf Reacher season 3 with Paulie was a blunt hammer (albeit a very effective one), season 4 is a razor-sharp scalpel, taking extra care to craft set-pieces the audience havenāt seen elsewhere.ā
Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher in the new season. Maria Sten also appears as Frances Neagley. Despite its record-low score, the season remains well-reviewed overall and continues the franchiseās story.
