Nikki Glaser has another title to add on to her long list of skills: babysitter.

The comedian, 41, revealed on The Howard Stern Show that she once babysat for Judd Apatow, 58, and Leslie Mann, 53, around the time that the pair were working on their film Funny People, which was released in 2009.

Glaser revealed to host Howard Stern, 72, that Apatow and Mann “paid well” for her to babysit their daughters, Maude, 28, and Iris, 23, during that time.

“This was 2007, I think it was like $35, $40 an hour,” Glaser revealed of her earnings, adding that the paycheck was “more than I’d ever been paid to babysit.”

“His kids were so sweet. They were so funny,” she shared.

The two-time Golden Globes host also revealed that one of her favorite memories from babysitting was when Adam Sandler, 59, called while Apatow and Mann were out. Glaser said she told him that she was the babysitter, and he “asked me about how my night was going.”

“It was my first interaction with Adam Sandler, and I have loved him ever since,” Glaser shared. “That was the nicest call I’ve ever gotten when I was babysitting.”

She also revealed that she asked Apatow for an audition in Funny People while she was babysitting and noted that one of the roles — which eventually went to Aubrey Plaza — was of a “struggling 25-year-old comedian in L.A. who loves Wilco.”

“That is literally who I am so I did end up asking [Apatow] for an audition,” Glaser recalled. “I was really embarrassed to do it, and I never took that [babysitting] job as like, it’s an opportunity. But then it’s like this role that is you and he’s actually not wanting an actress, he’s wanting real people.”

“I thought this would be dumb if I didn’t do it. My friend said, ‘You didn’t move to L.A. to be the greatest babysitter and so I just said, ‘Okay, I’ll do it.’ And he gave me an audition and it was really nice,” she added.

Cut to today, where she revealed on The Howard Stern Show that she and Apatow are now “writing a movie together.” She shared that she and the Trainwreck director came up with the idea while brainstorming one day.

“I started opening up about things I was struggling with, and where I am in my life and not having kids and not having a family and pursuing a career. And not being married and wondering if I should, and I’m scared of commitment and scared of forever, and he got something out of me that we thought, ‘Okay, this could be a really fun idea for a movie,’ ” she recalled.

Glaser noted that it would be a “funny” movie and that it “can’t not be.” She added, “Like all of his films, there’s going to be heart and there’s going to be real emotions, I hope and come from a real place.”
