Lynda Carter knows that stripping it back to the basics provides the best results.

The 75-year-old Wonder Woman star looked age-defying at the 2026 Angel Ball in New York City. On Monday, Oct. 19, she revealed the two simple products she uses to maintain her glow as she walked the red carpet.

“My skin care is honestly and truly soap and water. Just a clear soap and water,” Carter said in an interview with HELLO! magazine shared to Instagram.

In addition to wearing glowing glam, the former television actress turned heads in a curve-hugging sequin gown paired with coordinating heels and a black floor-length cardigan with dramatic ruffled edges.

Carter has had many glam moments in recent years, some of them made alongside her daughter, Jessica Carter Altman.

During Paris Fashion Week in 2025, the icon attended the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show, where she and Jessica, a singer, wore chic and coordinating black outfits. Shortly after that, the pair appeared at the Paley Honors Spring Gala that May, again wearing complementing ensembles.

When Carter chatted with PEOPLE in 2024, she commented on her appearance after all these years, saying, “People still recognize me all the time as Wonder Woman.” She added, “I don’t know that I’ve changed too dramatically.”

At the time, she also spoke about not undergoing facelifts that could leave her looking like someone else. “I don’t cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older,” she said, explaining, “And the reason I’ve never had any facial surgery is just because I’m afraid. It’s scary, because we’ve all seen some bad ones.”

She may be opposed to intense cosmetic procedures, but she still looks after her appearance in other ways.

When asked about her Paris Fashion Week outing, she told PEOPLE, “That outcome is spending time in a chair with some really good people doing your hair and makeup.”

“Then having somebody dress you, that has got something to do with it,” she continued.

She added, “Actors and celebrities always look so great when they’re on the red carpet, but when you see them in real life, they just look like a regular person with no makeup and their crummy clothes on. Everybody looks the same when they’re not all dressed up.”

“If everyone did a three-hour makeover before they left the house, then they’d all look amazing,” Carter said. “What I’m trying to say is, there’s a lot of effort behind those pictures. Don’t think they walk out the door looking like that!”
