Hollywood’s largest voting body, the Screen Actors Guild, is hosting its annual awards show tonight. Previously known as the SAG Awards, the newly re-minted Actor Awards will be hosted by actress Kristen Bell for the third consecutive year.
“I like hosting. I’m a mom. Literally, there’s going to be a play date here—what time is it? In less than an hour. So sometimes we got two, three, four, five, six girls over here,” the Nobody Wants This star told Deadline. “I have dinner parties. I like cooking a meal and putting up place mats and telling my guests, ‘Don’t worry about taking your shoes off. The house is a mess anyway. Just come in and enjoy yourself.’ I see the hosting gig as the same thing. I’m trying not to make it all about me. I’m trying to have it come through me a very welcoming atmosphere of, isn’t it crazy that we’re all here? Let’s celebrate.”
Much like the BAFTAs, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another leads the nominations, with a record seven nods, including group nominations for Best Cast and Best Stunt Ensemble. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners follows closely with five nominations, including individual nods for actors Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku, and Miles Caton.

Red carpet coverage from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles kicks off on Netflix at 7 p.m. eastern on Sunday, March 1. The live ceremony will follow at 8 p.m.
