Emma Chamberlain is opening up about her relationships online. In the latest episode of her Anything Goes podcast released on Thursday, Feb. 26, the content creator, 24, spoke about finding comfort in herself, and hosted an "advice session" for her listeners — a special type of episode of her podcast in which she answers dilemmas from her listeners.During one moment on the podcast, the influencer read out a question from one of her followers who had written in, asking for advice on how to be more comfortable doing things on their own. "Somebody said, 'How to find confidence doing things alone in public. I love my alone time when I'm at home, but I feel a little awkward doing things alone when I'm in public. Any tips?' " Chamberlain read out."Well, I want to start by saying I shockingly can relate to this a little bit right now," Chamberlain began, answering the commenter's question. "And this is shocking to those who know me because I am an only child. I am wired to be alone. I've spent so much time alone in my life. It comes very naturally to me and I've always been someone who felt really comfortable doing things alone since I was a teenager going and getting a coffee, going thrift shopping, doing whatever."She added, "It's never been embarrassing for me."

However, Chamberlain went on to admit that she resonated with the person's dilemma, even going as far as to say that recently she had been "overthinking" doing things alone. She was even able to pinpoint a specific reason why, she said."It's because I just got out of a two-year relationship," Chamberlain shared. "And this two-year relationship was very bestie vibes. Like, me and my boyfriend hung out al the time, which I didn't have in the relationship prior. So, I still was doing a lot of stuff alone."Going on, Chamberlain said, "In my last relationship, I like did everything with him. like we were inseparable besties vibes and it was very fun."However, she also reflected on how spending so much time with her boyfriend "weakened" the metaphorical muscle she had built up for being able to spend time alone. "Since the breakup I've been feeling a bit less comfortable with doing stuff alone," she said.
Chamberlain said that she still tries to have fun on her own, but that she has recently found herself feeling "genuinely nervous" about it. "It shocks me every time because it's just so unlike me," she admitted.Chamberlain also explained some of the ways she had been working to repair her "muscle" for spending time alone. In November 2025, the influencer officially confirmed she was single during an episode of Anything Goes, after previously having been rumored to be dating musician Peter McPoland after the two were spotted together during the 2024 Paris Olympics and coordinated Halloween costumes later that year.

Chamberlain mused about being single during the episode, opening the podcast installment by sharing that she's "going through a breakup right now" after being in a "serious relationship that was two years long." She added, "We really deeply loved each other."
Prior to sparking romance rumors with McPoland, the style icon dated singer-songwriter Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury. The pair were linked for three years before they broke up in October 2023.In another recent episode of the podcast, Chamberlain also walked back a claim she had made in which she had expressed a desire to stay single for a year following her last relationship.Following those comments, Chamberlain said, "I'm scared that I'm going to get into a relationship sooner than we all expected and everyone's going to be like, 'Emma, you said you were going to be single for like a year and you were only single for like 3 months.' "
She then added, "Well, that is the danger of having a podcast. That could happen. And we all need to be prepared for it."Continuing on, Chamberlain said, "And I do give you permission to say, 'Emma, are you a hypocrite?' I give you permission to somewhat question me, but I just want you to know that we have ideas about how we're going to do things, how we're going to handle things, and sometimes they turn out a little bit different cause we can't really predict what life will bring."
