Billy Joel is celebrating his daughter Alexa Ray Joel's 40th birthday.
Billy, 76, shared two sweet photos of himself hugging Alexa Ray in honor of the occasion. "Happy Birthday Alexa Ray Joel!" the five-time Grammy winner wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, shared on Monday, Dec. 29. In the photos, Billy wears a casual black shirt and olive green baseball cap, while Alexa Ray wears a floral sundress.
The "Riverside Way" singer's sister Sailor Brinkley Cook shared a video of her smiling and dancing in the living room in celebration, captioning the Instagram Story post "Birthday girl" with a red heart emoji.

Alexa Ray then shared a video of herself dancing with her mother Christie Brinkley to the tune of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Darlene Love on her Instagram Story.
"Birthday Dancing with the Mamacita," Alexa Ray captioned the post, in which she wears a long cream sweater dress while Brinkley, 71, wears a black maxi skirt and a black long sleeve shirt as a colorful Christmas tree and cheese board on the coffee table are within view.
Alexa Ray previously opened up about her parents' relationship around the August release of the two-part HBO documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes. Alexa Ray, who appeared in the documentary, said it was "moving, beyond belief" watching it back.
"There was people messaging me saying that they were in tears. So let alone, for me, reliving my childhood years," Alexa told PEOPLE exclusively at the time.
"I think the world was very enchanted by my parents when they were together. They were like the ultimate dream couple," she continued.
With her parents, Alexa noted that she loved seeing "how much they complement each other in their differences."
"Opposites attract. My mom being this beautiful model, and extrovert, and very sunny and outgoing. My dad is definitely more of an introvert, which I would say, I'm more introverted too," she told PEOPLE.

Alexa added, "It was really, really beautiful and emotional for me to watch. I cried, my mom cried."
In the documentary, the "Vienna" singer and the supermodel — who met in 1983 and were together for 11 years — recall the early days of their relationship.
"Here I am dating this beautiful supermodel and... me? I’m from Hicksville. What am I doing with her? What’s she doing with me? But that was a very productive time for me," Joel said in the film. "I wrote a lot of songs for her. She was a muse."
Alexa went on to follow in her father's musical footsteps, most recently releasing her soulful single "Heavy Eyes" in November.
