- Paul Bettany pulled an epic prank on his hungover nephew.

- The MCU star put a Vision head in the young man's bed while he slept.

- Bettany is returning as his superhero character in the Disney+ series *VisionQuest*.

Here's something that will snap you out of a hangover real quick: waking up next to a "decapitated" superhero head. Just ask Paul Bettany's nephew.

For more than a decade, Bettany has starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the heroic synthezoid Vision, a role that he's set to return to in the upcoming Disney+ series *VisionQuest*. And while the fame and fortune that comes with playing an Avenger is great, there's other less-publicized perks.

"When I’m filming Marvel films they make a bust of me so that the lighting and camera department can set up a shot without me there," Bettany explained in a recent Instagram post. "I stole one (don’t tell Marvel). Here is a picture of my hungover nephew Ethan about to wake up next to a decapitated #Vision… again. Great days. Great Uncle."

In the below photo, Ethan Connelly (the nephew of Bettany's wife Jennifer Connelly) is in a deep sleep, not realizing that tucked in beside him is a very real looking Vision head. Hey, at least it's not a horse!

Bettany can probably request as many Vision busts, for as many pranks as he wants, considering he's been a part of the MCU since the very beginning. In the *Iron Man* trilogy, Bettany voiced J.A.R.V.I.S., the ever-reliable A.I. assistant to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

But Bettany was upgraded to appearing in physical form beginning with 2015's *Avengers: Age of Ultron*, when J.A.R.V.I.S. is seemingly destroyed by Ultron (James Spader), only for the consciousness to be used as the basis for the Mind Stone-powered Vision. The character became a member of the Avengers, until, in 2018's *Avengers: Infinity War,* Vision died as a result of the battle with Thanos (Josh Brolin).

Vision returned in the hit Disney+ series *WandaVision*, which highlighted the powerful relationship between Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision. Bettany and Vision will now close out the *WandaVision* trilogy with *VisionQuest*. The eight-episode limited series follows "White Vision," the weaponized copy of the original Vision created to destroy Wanda in *WandaVision*, and the new Vision will face an identity crisis as he grapples with Vision's memories.

In the meantime, Bettany's nephew might be rooting against his uncle being cast as Voldemort, because waking up next to that face would be truly scary!
